Creative Structural Design From End-to-End

Seven questions that shape our commitment to clients and community before a project begins and long after it is delivered.

  1. Why are we doing this?
We place a strong emphasis on discovering the core problems to solve and on co-creating the vision for the project with the client.

  2. What does success look like for this project?
With a clearly defined problem and vision, we map and actively reimagine success through a series of indicators - ranging from client fulfilment to team wellness.

  3. Who can we (or I) turn to for help and guidance?
The best outcomes are shaped by multiple minds working in harmony at the right pace and time. We always act pragmatically and explore lucrative business opportunities where collaboration drives a multidimensional impact. We do our best to operate with the mindset that ‘the whole is larger than the sum of its parts’.

  4. Where can we make the biggest energy, cost and time savings?
As sustainable structural designers, mindful optimisation of resources is a significant driver in our practice.

  5. How can we (or I) learn to solve this problem more effectively?
Curious exploration of knowledge and tools motivates us to keep learning and growing as professionals. At every step, we reflect on the situation to reframe what we can learn, and we share insights with our clients and the community.

  6. When is the best time to pause and observe a project?
As hybrid professionals bridging engineering, science and design, we take the time to plan and research the best course of action at every stage. At the same time, we actively communicate potential opportunities and risks, without feeling compelled to react to a challenge. Our actions are guided by resilience and, as a team, we tackle stress and anxiety in healthy ways to create a wholesome working environment.

  7. What if we were to retrace our steps and reset?
Empathy, agility and open communication are core values of our practice. Each one of us is encouraged to think beyond ourselves and to relate our skills and expertise to the rest of the team and our collaborators.
